It has been reported that Poland is not faring nearly as well as it should, vis-à-vis getting investors. But this does not spell the beginning of the end as economics sense that Poland should indeed be able to turn this trend around by having foreign firms place their investments in the country which would ultimately lead to greater economic stability. It seems like it is a bit of a chicken and egg situation. Attracting foreign investment however, is extremely important for Poland which heavily relies on this (accounting for around a fifth of their total investment) but if foreign investors do not trust the country, then it’s bad news as they will choose to invest in other places. So Poland has to work harder to create and maintain that level of trust.
