This week, President Wulff visited the Hebrew University campus where tens of projects are underway with research institutions in Germany.
German universities and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem are jointly undertaking many research projects. These include researching brain function and tracking demented people with global positioning system devices to document their cognitive decline – due to both countries’ scientific expertise.
German Federal Republic President Christian Wulff visited the Hebrew University campus in Jerusalem to speak with scientists and administrators and learn about their progress the ongoing research projects with the University of Heidelberg and other research groups in Germany.
The 51-year-old president said he has been interested in this collaboration for a long time since he had been on the senate of the important Max Planck Institute for the Advancement of Science.
