Born in Rome in May, 1946, the new Director General of the Central Bank of San Marino has over thirty years of experience in management in some of the world’s leading international banks and financial institutions. Mr. Giannini has taken part in the most senior positions in the internal supervision of these institutions and has contributed to the formation, affirmation and development of specific sectors, such as leasing and credit.
“The decision of the Executive Council took place after a careful examination of a plurality of weighted profiles. Once you have compiled a short list, the Council developed considerations of merit that have led to the Director-General, “said President Ezio Paolo Reggia.
